The annual meeting of the SPSSCS is held each spring in
conjunction with the annual meeting of the American
Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) and the
Aesthetic Surgery Education and Research Foundation
(ASERF).
The meeting format of scientific presentations and
instructional courses is open to all professionals
interested in advancing their knowledge and skills in
plastic surgical skin care.
The SPSSCS
develops a curriculum addressing topics from cutting
edge skin treatments to advanced pre and post-operative
clinical skin care. Scientific research, aesthetic
artistry, professional development, clinical patient
care, marketing and business skills are emphasized.
The industry's
most knowledgeable skin care specialists, physicians,
nurses and scientific researchers serve as faculty.
The SPSSCS
annual meeting affords its members opportunities to
network with colleagues, skin care professionals,
industry representatives and plastic surgeons.
